About NBD-Pure Organic™ Bedding:

We offer a wide selection of mattress pads for your bed.  Choose from water resistant wool puddle pads, wool filled organic cotton mattress pads, or machine washable organic cotton mattress pads.

All our outer organic cotton on our wool pads is attractive European high thread count to protect the wool inside from migration over time.  The manufacturer does not use inferior USA organic cotton for the outers, stating that it is only suitable for inside mattresses in batting.

The NBD-Pure Organic™ bedding items sold here are manufactured in the U.S.A. for a California company called Pure-Rest, in business for 14 years. 

Latex for the latex mattress toppers, per the manufacturer, is tested for the presence of harmful chemicals -- and the results are in: No benzene derivatives, toluene, or other volatile organic chemicals indicated.  These derivatives have reportedly shown up in trace amounts in natural Talalay latex, used as sulfur accelerators in the manufacturing process. 

According to the manufacturer, lab tests on Talalay latex indicate that it contains approximately 1% benzene, toluene, and other VOC's.  These are chemicals that many people try to avoid.  Latex in our line is not Talalay, but manufactured using the Dunlop process.

Here's a lineup of things NOT included in NBD-Pure Organic™ latex, according to the manufacturer:
