Collection blankets and
throws are soft on your skin and on the earth. They are well made and
of quite high quality.
The cotton used
in The Dutch Mill Organic Collection blankets and throws is grown in the U.S.A. It is
certified Organic by the Department of Agriculture of Texas and by the Texas
Organic Cotton Marketing Corporation. Dutch Mill cotton yarns are
spun, woven, washed, and cut at Dutch Mill's 325,000 sq. ft. plant in Abbeville, South
Carolina. The Dutch Mill, Inc., part of The Intertech Group, maintains
OSHA safety standards in its plants and is in full compliance with all EPA
regulations.
To ensure purity
of The Dutch Mill organic blankets and throws, they are woven on looms dedicated
to organics. Chemical-free and dye-free.
The Dutch Mill's hemmed organic
blankets are natural in color, available in four standard bed sizes, plus
three sizes for baby, six different weave patterns in winter and summer
weight. Fringed organic throws are natural in color and come in adult
and baby sizes.
The Dutch Mill also offers a fantastic
50-50 blended organic cotton/organic Australian Merino wool blanket and a 100% organic
cotton blanket woven on a jacquard loom. Other products (not shown at
our website) include a summer weight organic blanket, traditional organic
cotton blanket, and a two-tone 50-50 organic/traditional cotton blanket.
