Cost?
Shipping charges vary by product. There is FREE
SHIPPING for Royal-Pedic Mattresses, Pure-Rest
Mattresses (but not crib mattresses), Natura Sleep Systems, and Naturlatex
Mattresses (but not crib mattresses) -- but only for orders going to the contiguous 48 states,
with certain exceptions. Those exceptions are to remote areas (as defined
by carriers),
mountainous areas, or islands -- all of which cost extra for shipping (we will
advise you of such additional charges at time of order placement or shortly
thereafter).
Free shipping offer does not apply to orders of foundations or legs only, pillows,
bedding items, baby products,
and seconds. We offer DISCOUNTED SHIPPING for Royal-Pedic, Pure-Rest, NBD-Presidential,
Strobel, and Natura foundations-only, legs-only, pillows, bedding items, baby
products, and seconds. The Natura Sleep Systems
and pillows/bedding ship by UPS and the Naturlatex
Mattresses, Supple-Latex, Royal-Pedic, and Pure-Rest Mattresses ship by common carriers.
There is FREE SHIPPING & SETUP in the
U.S. (contiguous 48 states -- with exceptions noted above) for Royal-Pedic
Mattresses and for NBD-Presidential
Organic Mattresses and for foundations and pillowtop pads purchased with a
matching mattress. Service technicians unload the packaged
bedding from the truck. They carry the bedding packages to the customer's
home and up a maximum of two flights of stairs. After the first two
flights, there are additional charges of $50 per flight (payable in cash at time
of delivery). The service technicians place the bedding packages inside
the customer's room of choice, then unpack the bedding and remove the packaging.
After unpacking, the service technicians will spend up to an additional 15
minutes performing light assembly of the bed (but not including setup of bed
frames, which is the responsibility of the customer). We can arrange
removal of the old mattress for $100 per set paid to us at the time of the order.
Missed Delivery Appointment Fee (customer's fault): $100, payable in cash, by
the customer, to the service technicians at the time of the rescheduled
delivery. If service technicians discover "concealed damage" when they
open the cartons and set up the mattress and/or foundation, the customer is not
responsible for paying for return of defective products. They will be
covered by the trucker's insurance policy.
We must charge for shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and
international destinations. If you live in a remote or mountainous
area, on an island, or other inaccessible
place located in the contiguous 48 states (as defined by carriers), we must charge something for special
shipping to your location (to cover ferry service, local trucking, etc.).
We will inform you of such charges at the time of order placement or shortly
thereafter (after we have checked with the shippers).
Royal-Pedic and NBD-Presidential
products are made in the USA; please allow up to 6-8 weeks for
delivery. Natura products are made in
Canada. Please allow up to 6-8 weeks for delivery of Natura
products
(many items, such as pillows and other bedding, usually arrive much sooner).
Most
Pure-Rest mattresses (including crib mattresses) ship very fast; allow
up to 6-8 weeks for carriers to get your shipment to you. Very rarely carriers
misplace orders and delivery may require more than 6-8 weeks (in such rare
instances, we vigorously interface with carriers to get such orders moving).
Allow up to 6 weeks for delivery of Supple-Latex Mattresses.
Note that when
your Natura, Strobel, or Pure-Rest mattress and/or foundation shipment arrives, the carrier is not
responsible for unloading it from the truck. You have to assist the driver
in getting the shipment off the truck, and you may be solely responsible for
getting it from the truck to your door. Under no circumstances is the
driver responsible for bringing the Natura, Strobel, or Pure-Rest mattress and/or
foundation inside your house. As noted above, pricing for Royal-Pedic and
NBD-Presidential
mattresses delivered within the contiguous 48 states includes delivery and
setup. Pure-Rest Mattresses and Foundations may be brought inside your
threshold for an additional charge of $100; they may be carried up a maximum of
two flights of stairs beyond the threshold for an additional charge of $50, and
set up as described for the Royal-Pedic for an additional charge of $100.
Setup in your bedroom is
available for Supple-Latex Mattresses ($325-$525); removal of old mattress to
curb is $75. Make sure you inform us at the time of order that you wish to have these special
delivery services.
DO NOT SIGN FOR DAMAGED
MERCHANDISE IF YOU ARE CERTAIN THAT IT IS DAMAGED. The
carriers do not accept claims for "Concealed Damage." Remember, if you
accept delivery, you are responsible for paying return shipping charges to the
manufacturer for products you later may feel are defective. Note
that sometimes shipments from Canada may appear to have been opened before you sign for
them; this is probably due to routine inspection by U.S. Customs at the
U.S.-Canada border.
Here's a good idea for
customers purchasing
Pure-Rest mattresses and foundations: You may have true peace of mind by
arranging for "Inside Room & Unpack Service." With this service (at
additional cost of $175 for Pure-Rest deliveries (with surcharge for maximum of
2 flights of stairs of $50), paid at time of placing order), service technicians
unload the packaged bedding from the truck. They carry the bedding
packages to the customer's home and up a maximum of two flights of stairs.

How Long Will My Order Take
for Delivery?
/Natural Beds Direct
will attempt to expedite your
order as quickly as reasonably possible. Please allow up
to 6-8 weeks for delivery of Royal-Pedic and NBD-Presidential orders, up to
6-8 weeks for delivery of Natura, Strobel,
and Pure-Rest orders (except Pure-Rest mattresses, which often ship fast -- some within
days), and up to 6-8 weeks for Pacific Rim Woodworking orders (many items, such as pillows and other bedding,
usually arrive much sooner). For
most bed and mattress orders, it
generally requires up to approximately 2 weeks for manufacture of your purchase
before shipment,
if not in stock at the manufacturer.
Very rarely carriers misplace orders and delivery may require more than 6-8
weeks (in such rare instances, we vigorously interface with carriers to get such
orders moving). Note that expedited delivery is available for Pure-Rest products (at
additional cost) to give you very fast delivery (call for details)!
Note that in most cases, Natura World, Inc.
and Pure-Rest
ship pillows and other bedding items via UPS within one week of manufacture. Note
that we must receive approval on the charge to your credit card before
processing your order. We will submit orders to Natura World, Royal-Pedic,
Ecobaby Organics (Pure-Rest), Strobel, Pacific Rim, and to the
manufacturer of NBD-Presidential
Monday-Friday (not including U.S. and Canadian holidays).

Where Do We Ship?
Natura World, Royal-Pedic, Strobel, Ecobaby Organics
(Pure-Rest), Pacific Rim, and the manufacturer
of NBD-Presidential
products (Royal-Pedic) routinely ship within the contiguous 48 states of the U.S. using UPS and common carriers. For orders going to Alaska
and Hawaii, we can arrange shipment by airfreight.
Pricing is not excessive. International customers are responsible for making all local
arrangements in your country, including picking up of merchandise at the
airport, payment of terminal fees, taxes/duties, and arranging local delivery to
your home. We unfortunately do not ship Natura
products to Canada, due to Natura policy. We ship Natura mattresses and
Sleep Systems only to Naples, Florida, due to Natura policy

Is It Possible to Track
My Order?
All Natura orders shipping via UPS are assigned a
tracking number. After your Natura order ships, we will inform you of this
tracking number via e-mail -- provided Natura gives us the tracking number. You may track the order at the UPS website.
Natura sometimes notifies us of shipments of Naturlatex
Mattresses;
if we receive such notification, we will provide you with the carrier's name,
telephone number, and order number (you may hear about it before us). Most
Pure-Rest
orders shipping via UPS have tracking numbers available (we will e-mail to you
if we receive it). If you are ordering a mattress or other item shipping
via common carrier, the carrier will generally notify you in advance of delivery
(to make sure someone is home to sign for it), but we do not guarantee that the
carrier will do so (usually they do).

What About Truck Delivery Service
for Royal-Pedic Mattresses, NBD-Presidential
Mattresses,
Pure-Rest Mattresses, Supple-Latex Mattresses and Naturlatex
Mattresses?
For Pure-Rest,
Supple-Latex, and Natura
Mattresses, shipping is only via
common carrier (not UPS, due to size and weight
restrictions). The trucking company may attempt to contact you by
telephone to inform you of the delivery date and approximate time of delivery.
You or some responsible adult representative must be at home to sign for the
shipment.
Note that when
your Pure-Rest, Supple-Latex, or Natura mattress and/or foundation shipment arrives, the carrier is not
responsible for unloading it from the truck. You have to assist the driver
in getting the shipment off the truck, and you may be solely responsible for
getting it from the truck to your door. Under no circumstances is the
driver responsible for bringing the Pure-Rest, Supple-Latex, or Natura mattress and/or
foundation inside your house. For Royal-Pedic and
NBD-Presidential
Mattresses and pillowtop pads ordered with a mattress, free shipping and setup
is offered (see above for exceptions). The carrier will attempt to contact you to make delivery/setup
arrangements (see above for details).
Note that the carriers
are not responsible
for disposal of old mattresses or shipping cartons, except at additional cost
for Royal-Pedic and NBD-Presidential Mattresses.
DO NOT SIGN FOR DAMAGED
MERCHANDISE IF YOU ARE CERTAIN THAT IT IS DAMAGED. The
carriers do not accept claims for "Concealed Damage." Any damage
claims after acceptance of the shipment by you cannot be honored because the
freight companies will not take responsibility for products in a customer's home
after they have been delivered, inspected, installed, and signed off by the
customer, which releases the freight company from any further liability. Remember, if you
accept delivery, you are responsible for paying return shipping charges to the
manufacturer for products you later may feel are defective.
Note
that sometimes it may appear that Natura cartons have been opened before you sign for
them; this is probably due to routine inspection by U.S. Customs at the
U.S.-Canada border.
If your Royal-Pedic or
NBD-Presidential
order arrives and appears
to be visibly damaged, refuse the order and contact Royal-Pedic at (800)
487-6925 so they can manufacture a replacement mattress and send it off as soon
as possible.
Pure-Rest Mattresses and
Foundations may be brought inside your threshold for an additional charge of
$100; they may be carried up a maximum of two flights of stairs beyond the
threshold for an additional charge of $100, and set up as described for the
Royal-Pedic for an additional charge of $175. Setup in your bedroom is
available for Supple-Latex Mattresses ($325-$525); removal of old mattress to
curb is $75.
Make sure you inform us at the
time of order that you wish to have these special delivery services.

What Are Shipping Details for
Pacific Rim Woodworking Furniture?
For
Pacific Rim furniture, some items ship via UPS: cribs, Classic beds (Twins and
Double/Full), Profile beds (all sizes), 4-in-1 Classic Style beds and kits
(trundle kit/bunk kit), trundle beds, nightstands, and underbed drawers.
Items that ship by freight
carrier include: Arts & Crafts beds (all sizes), New Wave beds (all sizes),
Classic beds (Standard/California King), dressers (all sizes), desks, hutches,
tall and short storage towers, wardrobe and entertainment cabinets, and
bookcases. Normally, items shipped by freight carrier involve Curbside
delivery (the driver moves the freight to the back of the truck for the customer
to unload). Also available: Lift Gate delivery (the driver uses a lift
gate to get the items off the back of the truck and to the ground); Inside
delivery (the driver brings the merchandise into the first threshold, such as
entryway or garage, provided the route is free of debris, merchandise, cords,
stairs, and narrow entryways). Note that if Lift Gate delivery is not
authorized, customer may have to help remove heavy or high value items from the
truck. Remember, if you are interested in Lift Gate or Inside delivery
service, you must specify that at time you place the order with our company.
The freight carrier (not UPS)
will likely attempt to contact you by
telephone to inform you of the delivery date and approximate time of delivery.
You or some responsible adult representative must be at home to sign for the
shipment. Note that the carriers
are not responsible
for disposal of old mattresses or shipping cartons.
If there is damage, Pacific Rim
Woodworking will file claims with its carriers and provide replacement items for
damaged parts. The following guidelines will aid not only in the claim
process, but will also allow for speedier replacements.
UPON ARRIVAL OF FREIGHT: Count
the pieces received against the driver’s delivery receipt. Notate
ANY discrepancies in writing ON the delivery receipt.
Refuse any items you think are beyond your ability to repair.
Ensure you have thoroughly inspected all pieces to your
satisfaction. Once you sign the delivery receipt, anything not
noted is now your financial responsibility. Call us
immediately to report damage or shortage.
WITHIN 24 HOURS FOLLOWING
DELIVERY:
Open and inspect all cartons.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE CASE
OF A SHORTAGE:
The freight carrier will attempt to locate the missing piece. If
you notify us what piece is missing, we will notify Pacific Rim and they will
begin to produce that part in an effort to complete your order if the wayward
piece doesn’t turn up. Generally shortage searches take 48 business hours.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE CASE
OF DAMAGE:
If you refused the damaged item, it will be returned to Pacific Rim
for repair. During that time, Pacific Rim may send you a replacement piece
and will file a claim with the freight company.
If you did not sign for the piece as damaged and need a replacement
or if you find concealed damage, Pacific Rim policy is to send you a
replacement, and we will bill you for the replacement. You are responsible
for paying that charge. If you appropriately signed the delivery bill, use
the e-mail receipt we provide as supporting evidence when you file an
insurance claim against the freight company.
Bear in mind that you are
signing a legal document when you are signing the freight delivery receipt.
Natural Beds Direct and Pacific Rim accept absolutely no financial burden
caused by failure to follow these guidelines. Pacific Rim asserts that they
will gladly assist in replacing damaged goods in a timely manner.

Do You Ship Natura Mattresses Only to Naples, Florida?
In January 2008, Natura issued a
policy that its dealers may sell Natura mattresses only within 75 miles of
their respective locations. Since we are located in Naples, FL, that is our sales
area for Natura mattresses. For the vast majority of our customers, all
over the U.S., we recommend you consider the excellent quality Royal-Pedic,
Pure-Rest, Supple-Latex, or NBD-Presidential™
by Royal-Pedic mattresses that we sell.
