Limited Warranty & Refund Info for Royal-Pedic Products -- Mattresses & Pillowtop Pads

All sales are final, with certain exceptions.  We offer refunds only when a customer returns defective merchandise to Royal-Pedic (the manufacturer) at customer expense, Royal-Pedic has accepted the returned merchandise, and informs us that they (Royal-Pedic) are not repairing or replacing it.  We also offer refunds if Royal-Pedic offers a 14-Night Trial Period for the product you have purchased (see details and exclusions, below -- NO trial offered for organic products) and you have returned the product per terms of the Trial Period (see below).  In such cases, TAI/Natural Beds Direct™ will issue a prompt refund, but NOT for the shipping/setup portion of original cost ($200-$500) or for the cost of pillowtop pads.

Royal-Pedic Mattress Manufacturing, LLC warranties its mattresses and box springs to the original consumer purchaser for a non-prorated period of ten years from the date of purchase against material defects and workmanship.  Pillowtop pads are warrantied for a non-prorated period of five years.  At Royal-Pedic's option, the warranted item will be repaired or replaced.  Royal-Pedic reserves the right to substitute materials of equal quality.  Repair or replacement does not extend the original period of limited warranty, nor does it constitute the beginning of a new limited warranty period.  All transportation charges and packaging are the responsibility of the consumer.

For easy identification, do not remove the white law labels or the product name labels.  Royal-Pedic's warranty excludes: (1) Mattresses purchased without the appropriate matching new box spring when said mattress is used on another box spring that the customer may already have; (2) Firmness preference of the mattress; (3) Normal body impressions of up to 2" in the padding material; (4) Handles or grommets pulling out.  Handles are meant to minimally assist in positioning the mattress on the box spring.  Pulling too hard on the handles can cause the border fabric to tear, as well as damage the spring unit; (5) Mattresses and/or box springs that are sold "as is" or "floor models" older than one year from the original ship date.

Royal-Pedic's's warranty will be voided for obvious abuse, support, or improper care/maintenance: (1) Improper center support.  Queen or King-size mattresses and box springs must be supported by a sturdy center rail that will prevent the mattress from caving in; (2) Inadequate turning of the mattress; (3) Broken box spring bases or bent mattress innerspring border wire, folding the innerspring mattress in half; (4) Burns, soils, or stains; or (5) Excessive body weight.  According to the mattress industry, for optimum comfort and mattress life, mattresses should be rotated either head to foot, or turned over once per month.   Remind movers to be very careful not to bend your mattress more than just a little.  Royal-Pedic cannot return a mattress to the consumer if it is returned to the plant in unsatisfactory condition.

Royal-Pedic offers a 14-Night Trial Period for some products.  This excludes pillowtop pads purchased separately, or items Royal-Pedic considers to be special orders: adjustable beds, all organic mattresses and pillowtop pads, custom sizes and custom thick mattress and box springs (including low-profile foundations), special firmness mattresses, and 8-way hand-tied box springs.  To exchange or return the mattress, Royal-Pedic must be contacted within 14 days of the customer receiving the delivery.  The return mattress must have been kept in clean and sanitary condition.  For exchanges, the return mattress can be packed in the plastic bag and box the replacement arrives in.  If it is a return, it is the responsibility of the consumer to save the original packaging, so that the mattress is returned in good, undamaged condition.  This means that if you are unsure about keeping the mattress, you must make sure the delivery service does not ruin the packaging material during unpacking, or take away the packaging materials.  If the mattress comes back to the Royal-Pedic factory with stains or hair, it will be deemed as unsanitary, as the plant will not be able to strip and remake the mattress for health reasons; under such circumstances, there will be no refund.  The unsanitary mattress must be disposed of, or sent back to the customer freight collect.  All return freight charges are the responsibility of the customer, and we will not refund the original shipping/setup portion of the cost ($200-$500).  We suggest that if you have any doubts about the Royal-Pedic mattress, you NOT purchase it.  In our view, it does not make sense to purchase on the basis of the 14-Night Trial Period, considering that the roundtrip freight and initial setup charges are the responsibility of the customer.  Remember, NO trial period offered on organic products.

We make no guarantees about degree of firmness or comfort of products sold.  Those subjective measures are determined by individual experience.  This means that if a product is too soft or too firm for your taste, you do not have valid reason for returning the product under terms of the manufacturer's warranty.

Pure-Rest mattresses and foundations come with a 30-Night Satisfaction Guarantee.  This excludes pillowtop pads or toppers.  To return the mattress, Ecobaby Organics must be contacted within 30 days of the customer receiving the delivery.  The return mattress must have been kept in clean and sanitary condition.  It must still have the plastic wrap on the mattress and foundation.  The customer must not remove the plastic wrap should they wish to take advantage of the 30-Night Satisfaction Guarantee.  Should customer wish to test the feel of the mattress without voiding the 30-Night Satisfaction Guarantee, it is OK to carefully make a small triangular cut at one corner of the mattress plastic wrap (such cut not to exceed 1/2 inch on any side of the triangle, and such cut not to cut the mattress fabric itself).  For returns to be approved by Ecobaby, the mattress must retain the plastic package wrap, as described above, and must be shipped in the original carton.  It is the responsibility of the consumer to save the original packaging, so that the mattress is returned in good, undamaged condition.  This means that if you are unsure about keeping the mattress, you must make sure the delivery service does not ruin the packaging material during unpacking, cut the plastic wrap around the mattress and foundation, or take away the packaging materials.  If the mattress comes back to the Ecobaby Organics with stains or hair, it will be deemed as unsanitary, as the plant will not be able to strip and remake the mattress for health reasons; under such circumstances, there will be no refund.  The unsanitary mattress must be disposed of, or sent back to the customer freight collect.  All return freight charges are the responsibility of the customer, and we will not refund the original shipping/setup portion of the cost ($200-$500).  We suggest that if you have any doubts about the Pure-Rest mattress, you NOT purchase it.  In our view, it does not make sense to purchase on the basis of the 30-Night Satisfaction Guarantee, considering that the roundtrip freight and initial setup charges are the responsibility of the customer.

All sales are final.  We offer refunds only when a customer returns defective merchandise to Natura World, Inc. (the manufacturer), Natura World, Inc. has accepted the returned merchandise, and informs us that they (Natura World, Inc.) are not repairing or replacing it.  In that case, TAI/Natural Beds Direct™ will issue a prompt refund, but NOT for shipping charges or for the cost of mattress pads.

Natura World, Inc., manufacturer of the Natura Sleep System™, offers a 10-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY on the Natura Sleep System™ all-wood or medium-density fiberboard (MDF) frame, wood slat mattress, and the support latex mattress.  This protection does NOT apply to the wool mattress pad.  Natura World, Inc. warrants that these covered Natura components are free from defects in material and workmanship during the limited warranty period.

During the term of this limited warranty protection, Natura World, Inc. will, at its option, replace or repair any covered defective parts of the Natura Sleep System™ (except for mattress pads) purchased under this limited warranty, at no additional charge, with the exception of shipping charges.

When returning any Natura products, the purchaser assumes responsibility for all round-trip shipping charges to and from Natura's manufacturing facility in Canada, is responsible for arranging insurance for the product(s) returned, and assumes the risk of loss during shipment.  A Return Authorization (RA) Number is required, as discussed above.  Remember, do not return mattress pads, as they are not covered under the Natura Limited Warranty.

Note that slight imperfections are common in all natural wood products.  Natura World, Inc. reserves the right to inspect, touch up, or repair any defective item before authorizing a replacement. 

Note that Natura World, Inc. extends NO WARRANTY PROTECTION to damage resulting from negligence, misuse,  accidents, improper cleaning, or damage incurred as a result of the customer transporting the product.  As noted above, there is no warranty protection for mattress pads.

For comforters and duvets, but not mattress pads, Natura World, Inc. offers a 5-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY. 

During the term of this limited warranty protection, Natura World, Inc. will, at its option, replace or repair any covered defective parts of the Natura comforters (except for mattress pads) purchased under this limited warranty, at no additional charge, with the exception of shipping charges.

When returning any Natura products, the purchaser assumes responsibility for all round-trip shipping charges to and from Natura's manufacturing facility in Canada, is responsible for arranging insurance for the product(s) returned, and assumes the risk of loss during shipment.  A Return Authorization (RA) Number is required, as discussed above.  Remember, do not return mattress pads, as they are not covered under the Natura Limited Warranty.

Note that Natura World, Inc. extends NO WARRANTY PROTECTION to damage resulting from negligence, misuse,  accidents, improper cleaning, or damage incurred as a result of the customer transporting the product.  As noted above, there is no warranty protection for mattress pads.

Natura World, Inc. offers a 20-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY on Naturlatex Mattresses.  The manufacturer warrants them to be free from defects for 20 years from date of purchase to the original purchaser, with 1-10 years non-prorated and the next 11-20 years prorated as described below.  Repair or replacement of the Naturlatex Mattress or foundation does not extend its limited warranty or begin a new warranty period.  Natura will, at its option, replace or repair any Naturlatex Mattress or foundation if they fail during the limited warranty period at no charge other than transportation costs.  Natura reserves the right to substitute materials or models of equal value and quality.  This limited warranty is valid only if you have used a new matching Natura foundation specially designed for use with the Naturlatex Mattress.  Replacement of one does not automatically result in the replacement of the other piece.

This limited warranty on Naturlatex Mattresses is provided by Natura only to the original purchaser.  To validate your warranty, you will be required to produce a copy of acceptable proof of date and place of purchase.  Trade labels and law labels must be intact to identify the bedding.

This limited warranty on Naturlatex Mattresses does not apply to: normal body impressions (1.5" or less in all sleeping areas); firmness preference of the product; cover (fabric); product sold for commercial use; stains or soil; burns.  Further, Natura World, Inc. is not liable for incidental or consequential damages arising through use of Naturlatex Mattresses.

During years 11-20 from the date of purchase, if your Naturlatex Mattress becomes defective due to workmanship, Natura World, Inc. will replace the mattress on a pro-rated cost of use of 1/20 of the original purchase price per year from the year shown on the bill of sale, provided that the conditions outlined above are met. 

During the term of this limited warranty protection, Natura World, Inc. will, at its option, replace or repair any covered defective parts of the Naturlatex Mattress purchased under this limited warranty, at no additional charge, with the exception of shipping charges.

Limited Warranty & Refund Info for NBD-Presidential Innerspring & Latex Organic Mattresses by Royal-Pedic

All sales are final, with certain exceptions.  We offer refunds only when a customer returns defective merchandise to the manufacturer of NBD-Presidential™ products (Royal-Pedic) at customer expense, the manufacturer has accepted the returned merchandise, and informs us that they (the manufacturer) are not repairing or replacing it.  In such cases, TAI/Natural Beds Direct™ will issue a prompt refund, but NOT for the shipping/setup portion of original cost ($200-$500) or for the cost of pillowtop pads.

The manufacturer of NBD-Presidentialproducts warranties its mattresses and box springs to the original consumer purchaser for a non-prorated period of ten years from the date of purchase against material defects and workmanship.  Pillowtop pads are warrantied for a non-prorated period of five years.  At the manufacturer's option, the warranted item will be repaired or replaced.  The manufacturer reserves the right to substitute materials of equal quality.  Repair or replacement does not extend the original period of limited warranty, nor does it constitute the beginning of a new limited warranty period.  All transportation charges and packaging are the responsibility of the consumer.

For easy identification, do not remove the white law labels or the product name labels.  The manufacturer's warranty excludes: (1) Mattresses purchased without the appropriate matching new box spring when said mattress is used on another box spring that the customer may already have; (2) Firmness preference of the mattress; (3) Normal body impressions of up to 2" in the padding material; (4) Handles or grommets pulling out.  Handles are meant to minimally assist in positioning the mattress on the box spring.  Pulling too hard on the handles can cause the border fabric to tear, as well as damage the spring unit; (5) Mattresses and/or box springs that are sold "as is" or "floor models" older than one year from the original ship date.

The manufacturer's warranty will be voided for obvious abuse, support, or improper care/maintenance: (1) Improper center support.  Queen or King-size mattresses and box springs must be supported by a sturdy center rail that will prevent the mattress from caving in; (2) Inadequate turning of the mattress; (3) Broken box spring bases or bent mattress innerspring border wire, folding the innerspring mattress in half; (4) Burns, soils, or stains; or (5) Excessive body weight.  According to the mattress industry, for optimum comfort and mattress life, mattresses should be rotated either head to foot, or turned over once per month.   Remind movers to be very careful not to bend your mattress more than just a little.  The manufacturer cannot return a mattress to the consumer if it is returned to the plant in unsatisfactory condition.

If a consumer is returning a mattress under terms of the warranty, it is the responsibility of the consumer to save the original packaging, so that the mattress is returned in good, undamaged condition.  This means that if you are feel there may be a defect, you must make sure the delivery service does not ruin the packaging material during unpacking, or take away the packaging materials.  All return freight charges are the responsibility of the customer, and we will not refund the original shipping/setup portion of the cost ($200-$500).  We suggest that if you have any doubts about the NBD-Presidential mattress, you NOT purchase it.

Pacific Rim Woodworking furniture is guaranteed by the manufacturer to be free of defects in both materials and workmanship.  This guarantee covers the condition in which the furniture arrives.  There is no warranty beyond that. 

If for some reason not involving damaged merchandise the customer refused to accept delivery of Pacific Rim furniture, there is a 35% restocking fee for any returns.  In addition, the customer is responsible for return freight charges, which we will collect from you as a charge to your credit card on file..
